Overview
This course has been developed following the success of our oil courses which have been attended for over 30 years. The three day event is designed to give an insight into the loading, carriage and storage of a variety of the dry bulk cargoes commonly shipped around the world.
The principal objective of the programme is to provide an appreciation of:-
- The properties and hazards associated with the carriage of many bulk cargoes
- Loading and carriage requirements
- Contamination and sea water ingress
- Quantity determination and loss
- Sampling of bulk cargoes and quality disputes
- Mitigation

The course will appeal to those involved in the broking and underwriting, cargo claims, risk management P&I claims, the legal profession, as well as those involved in the loading and carriage of bulk cargoes.
