Consultant Scientist
Peter Morgan is based in our Cardiff office.
Peter is a Consultant Scientist with an MSci degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol. He is currently completing an EngD in Materials and Manufacturing at Swansea University, sponsored by an industrial coatings company. During this time, he has been involved in several research and development projects, gaining practical experience in coating formulation, electrochemical and corrosion testing, and chemical synthesis.
Peter’s EngD research concerns the development of environmentally friendly polymer coatings for corrosion protection for the pre-finished steel industry, through both accelerated and long-term experimentation. He has presented his research internationally at academic and industry conferences.
Since joining MTD in 2023, Peter has been involved in investigations of environmental degradation of polymeric materials, corrosion, and coating failures.
