Gary Cowley is a Petroleum and Petrochemicals Consultant based in our Singapore office.
Gary’s career began as a Chemist/Inspector when he joined the oil inspection business working for a major international inspection company, performing analysis, cargo inspections, quality and quantity investigations and surveys for over 30 years. This included 14 years as manager of a branch office in Darwin, Australia. Immediately prior to joining MTD, Gary managed the inspection office serving Fawley Oil Refinery, located in Southampton, UK.
During his inspection career, Gary built up an extensive range of experience including assessments of quantity and quality of crude, petroleum products, petrochemical, LPG, LNG & dry cargo operations at many different ports and locations.
Gary joined MTD as a Petroleum & Petrochemicals Consultant in May 2021 and has been involved in numerous investigations of quality disputes and contaminations involving a variety of bulk liquid cargoes including crude oil, petroleum products, petrochemicals and industrial chemicals.
